North Myrtle Beach Parking
The car is loaded with your beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and boogies boards. The question now? Where to park? North Myrtle Beach offers a large variety of parking options for both residents and visitors.
Paid Parking
The City of North Myrtle Beach has over 50 public parking locations for beach access. Beginning March 1st and continuing through October, the cost for parking is $4 per hour and can be paid by using the Passport Parking app or by using the pay stations located at each beach access. All parking is free before 9:00 AM and after 5:00 PM each day, however, overnight parking is not permitted. Be sure to visit the city’s interactive parking map to help you find the closest beach access and parking near your accommodation. The map is packed with helpful information, and also allows you to filter by amenities like beach wheelchair access, handicap parking, showers, restrooms and more.
Free Parking
From November through February, all parking is free at public beach accesses in North Myrtle Beach. Year-round, the City also offers one free parking lot on the North side of Main Street, just east of Hillside Drive. No matter the time of year, parking is always free before 9:00 AM and after 5:00 PM.
Once you're parked, find your fun on our 9 miles of wide sandy beaches. We'll see you on the beach!
